Accutane (Isotretinoin, Sotret, Claravis, Amnesteem) is  used for the treatment and prevention of severe acne. Accutane is a form of vitamin A.  It reduce acne by reducing the secretion of sebum. Common side effect: Chapped lips, Dry skin and itching, Dryness of nose, mild nosebleed, Increased sensitivity to sun, and The most damaging side effect of Accutane is serious birth defects. Women must take birth control pill during the treatment.
