The international version of this product has strengths of 50mcg, 125mcg and 250mcg which correspond to the strengths 44mcg, 110mcg and 220mcg in the United States. The products are identical, the difference is due to alternate ways of measuring the strength.

Flovent (Fluticasone) is a corticosteroid used to reduce the inflammation associated with asthma. This medicine is also used to prevent asthma attacks. IT WILL NOT STOP an asthma attack once one has started. It is for patients with asthma 4 years of age and older.
